KLAX 2.0 - LoRaWAN® sensor/optohead for remote reading of modern measuring equipment

By using the new KLAX 2.0, the values (e.g. electricity meter reading in kWh) of modern metering devices are transmitted via LoRaWAN®. This allows energy efficiency measures to be implemented and increased transparency to be achieved.

To do this, the KLAX 2.0 simply has to be attached to the optical interface (IR interface) of the mME using an integrated magnet. After successful integration into the backend, the data can be continuously recorded and processed every 15 minutes. The standardized SML protocol is used, making the KLAX 2.0 compatible with various smart meter devices. The external LoRaWAN® antenna improves the transmission performance in the basement or in the meter box.
