This device is a ModBus-to-LoRaWAN® bridge for easy connection of Modbus devices to a LoRaWAN® network. The Modbus RTU master with RS485 interface can read and transmit up to 16 registers. LoRaWAN® allows connections to the Internet with ranges of up to 10 kilometers between transmitter and gateway antenna - without the usual mobile phone costs.
